I am pleased to announce that I will be co-leading a trip to Nicaragua.

My co-leader is non-other than my fabulous roommate, Kayla Dawnn House.

Leaving June 4, I will be heading to Ometepe Island in Lake Nicaragua

for two-months to lead a group of 17 women.

We will be serving at CICRIN, Nicaraguan Christian Children's Center.

CICRIN is a children's home for abused, beaten and abandoned Nicaraguan children on Ometepe Island.

I am floored by God's faithfulness.

I had been told that they were most likely going to place me in New Zealand, but it wasn't official yet.

Yesterday, I had a meeting with a co-worker and facilitator for my professional development course.

We talked about me — my passions, calling, the tasks I like and don't like. As I sat telling her more and more about myself, I couldn't help but share my heart for young kids.

On the Race, my favorite ministry was in the Philippines. We worked with street kids, and I was able to spend time loving and helping at a home for girls who had been physically and sexually abused. It was great. I poured myself out because I love those girls and those street kids. If I could go back and do anything, it would be that.

I shared that, and we came up with jobs ideas I could pursue.

The next day, God sends me not to NZ, but to Nicaragua.

To an orphanage, to some children who need loving!

God is good.

If you'd like to donate, you can do so HERE.

Know that by donating, you aren't just supporting me financialy, but you are investing in

Jesus' work of making disciples and looking after orphans
