It's taken several tries to write this "About Me" section. I don't like summing myself up into words...I don't think I can do that and feel like I've truly given a full picture of myself! At the same time, I don't want to give away too much about myself because I'd rather get to know you personally than for you to just to read this!

But for the many of you who don't know me or do, I want to make one thing clear. While I am doing The World Race and will be a "missionary" for a year, I don't for one second pretend to have it all together. I don't claim to be (and I certainly hope I come off as) a "super Christian" or a "goody two shoes, holier than thou, etc." I struggle with things. I fight with sin and temptation daily. I'm just a regular person, who, just like you, has been saved by the GRACE of God and who God's chosen to use as a vessel to bring faith, hope and love into the world!

I don't know what my life holds in many aspects, but I'm trusting God with all of it (which, I find, is a day by day conscious effort)! Above all, I want to look back and be able to say that I lived a full life, I put others before myself, shared the love and grace of God with everyone I knew and most importantly, I was obedient to God in what He called me to.

Other than all that seriousness, I'm a pretty laid back, easy going, fun-loving person! I enjoy reading, watching movies, traveling, and meeting new people. Did I mention that I really enjoy watching movies? I also like having fun, being mischievious and making people laugh. I'm a total hot weather, beach person - Je n'aime pas le froid. I have recently become very fond of coffee drinks. Yes, I said coffee drinks, not coffee. I'm always up for trying something new, challenging and exciting...which is probably why God led my adventurous spirit here! I'm always amazed at how God orchestrates events and I truly cannot wait to see the events that happen and the lives that change over the course of this next year!
