I've been home for almost two months now. The honeymoon phase of the American lifestyle is over. I've settled back into life at home, at least, for the moment. I'm moving to Georgia Saturday to work with Adventures in Missions and while I'm still "home" in America, there's something about the community of people down in Gainesville that is otherworldly.
The last month of the Race, I thought of the story of Mary and Martha:
Wow.
It's something that I realized I struggled with over the Race and I still struggle with it today. I let the world and it's distractions (…life) get in the way. I so often concentrate on serving the Lord and doing things for Him, but forget that only one thing is required of me…to sit at the Lord's feet and listen to what He says.
And that will not be taken away from me.
